Rays of Dark

In the fields of silence where darkness bows to become a ray, I opened my hands.. imagined, and took the breath of a pray.

With no license we drive our self into the end of the bay. In hopes to reach that point, where darkness meets the light in a mysterious way. Waiting contently for the sunset to come, that peaceful treaty between me, the moon, my old self and the sun.

Light starts dancing on the silent tunes of darkness, while we get preached by moments of nothingness, to manifest and harness.

I kept gazing at a starless night, in hopes I can see a glimpse of light.

"Why are we here? have you asked yourself? did you mind?"

That moment I discovered that a ray can't just be of light.

It can't just be straight, wise and bright.

I opened my mind to the fields of emptiness, and learned that rays too can be of dark.

For the majesty of death and life, darkness has bent to become a light.

Why are we seeking light, when in darkness we have answers, a vision and a sight.

The soul is shining with rays of dark, where we accept pain not to be less wonderous than the joys of life.

Rains of grief falls gently emptying the cloud of our minds.

Changing the seasons of our hearts, leaving space for darkness to become an art.

Guided by the depth of silence, we blindly trust the caring hands of the unseen.

Like a young girl's shyness from her beautiful queen.

In you we have found aloneness, and the joys of being invisible and avoided.

In you we pledge to keep our secrets hidden, closed by the unseen locks of silence.

And as time decays and flies away, we all become rays of darkness, walking back the path of clay.
